IBX REINFORCEMENT

What it is: IBX is a natural nail strengthening system designed to strengthen, repair and protect the natural nail. IBX is HEMA free.

IBX is the first treatment of its kind, it works INSIDE the nail and not on its surface. IBX penetrates the upper layers of the nail and bonds to itself inside the nail, creating an interpenetrating polymer network.

Uses

  1. Under gel polish, IBX will protect, repair and strengthen the nail.
  2. For the treatment of natural nail growth, IBX will repair and strengthen the natural nail from the inside.

IBX REPAIR

Intense treatment used to improve the integrity of the nail plate under any gel polish coating. Also used to target imperfections and weaknesses in the natural nail that prevent the growth of long nails.

Use IBX to treat particularly weak, thin and damaged nails. Can be used as a complete protective shield under gel polish AND for specific repairs. Over 100 applications for 10 nails per 0.33 fl oz bottle. 36 month shelf life. SURFACE BASED TREATMENT FOR DAMAGE CONTROL AND PROTECTION TO PROMOTE NATURAL NAIL GROWTH Apply IBX REPAIR to visibly damaged areas of the natural nail plate. By penetrating the walls of the damaged areas, IBX acts like a "double-sided tape" or "Velcro" that seals/holds the damaged areas together.

Works wonders on damaged nails

I could not believe how effective this was at improving the strength and appearance of damaged nails. After just two treatments I was already noticing significant changes. My nails went from having visible white scratches to a much smoother surface. Scratches are almost invisible following the application of a basic cuticle oil to the nail plate itself.

I also tend to have a big problem with lasting scents on products. IBX treatments have amazed me with how little scent they give off after that basic first rinse. Any smell of the product itself fades within 1 or 2 hand washes following application which is INCREDIBLE.

The one thing that I was aware this product would not be able to treat is large dents in the natural nail. I have some pitting and this product is designed to provide a more light smooth coating (with some power to prevent cracks) than a product to fill in big divots.

If you have bendy natural nails or share my bad habit of painting too close to the edges of your nail, you will get some lifting just like any normal gel but I've noticed that the remainder of the product is not affected after lightly filing away the lifted sections. This has been magical for my peace of mind because things can be fixed back up after such small modifications.

I'm so grateful I got this recommendation and recommend that others give this system a go if they have managed to get similar surface scratching.
