Ethanol-Based Disinfectant BM-6400

Dual-purpose solution: USE TO SPRAY SURFACES OR AS A SOAK TO DECONTAMINATE

This ethanol and phenol-based solution is ideal for disinfecting small areas. Spray directly onto surfaces or apply to a paper towel for rapid disinfection of frequently used surfaces and objects. The solution can also be used as a soaking bath for initial cleaning or decontamination of invasive or semi-critical instruments before subsequent sterilization steps. This product is also suitable for disinfecting and soaking non-invasive instruments.

To facilitate the spraying of surfaces with BM-6400, empty bottles with 500 mL spray ( code BM-4S ) are also available. This disinfectant is available in a 4 liter format.

Active Ingredients

• Ethanol 71%
• O-phenylphenol 0.1%

Suggested Contact Time*

• Fast disinfection : 180 seconds
• Disinfection at the end of the day : 10 minutes

Note: Read the label carefully before use and follow the instructions. This product can be used for the disinfection of non-invasive instruments. It can also be used for pre-cleaning or decontamination of semi-critical or critical medical instruments prior to sterilization or high-level disinfection. (Do not use as a sterilant or high-level disinfectant on surfaces or instruments in direct contact with sterile body parts or the bloodstream.)
